Our relationship starts well before I even pick up the camera and photograph your best friend. The pre-shoot consultation gives us an opportunity to meet and discuss your pet and it’s a perfect time for your pet to get to know me and start feeling comfortable around me. I want to know all about them, their likes and dislikes, their temperament, their favorite toy. This will give me a good starting point to formulate what our shoot will be like. This is also a good time to find out what types of pictures you want to end up with.
I offer both studio & environmental shoots. Environmental shoots allow me to photograph your pet where they’re most comfortable, whether it be a park, a funky urban setting or your backyard. At PhoDOGraphy by Edith we believe that if your pet is having fun and is in a relaxed environment then that will bring out their playful, silly and loving personalities which can then be captured on film (to use an old saying).
The studio shoot takes place in my home studio where we have just as much fun. This images are more traditional in nature and I use a variety of backdrops & props to get the look you’re after.
The Standard Session $225 – includes:
- one on one consultation prior to the shoot
- time and talent of the photographer
- up to 90 minutes of shooting
- The location of your choice within the Greater Toronto Area
- 25 – 40 images for viewing in a private online gallery
- Digital processing and enhancements of all images
- Yummy treats & toys for your furbaby

- up to 60 minutes of shooting
- 25 – 30 images for viewing in a private online gallery

The Forever Mine Session “Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault, really.” Agnes Sligh Turnbull
The Forever Mine session is meant for elderly and/or terminally ill pets. I know how difficult a time this can be as I’ve been through it myself. Every accommodation will be made to schedule these sessions in a timely manner. Please contact me for more details.
The Fine Print….
- 50% of the creative/session fee is due at the time of booking.
- Add $25 for each additional furbaby
- Travel outside of the Greater Toronto Area may require an additional fee. Let me know where you are.
- Clients are required to sign a model/property release prior to our scheduled shoot.
- Once the shoot is done it takes many hours in the digital darkroom to professionally edit and produce the images of your furbaby, that you will enjoy for years to come. The creative/session fee covers the photographers time and talent and does not include any products. All products are purchased separately*.
